Add layouts into the search index

Description of the need

When someone searches for "meetings" on a site, and there is a layout landing page named "meetings" it seems strange that the meetings "page" is missing from the search results.

Proposed solution

Would it be possible to add layouts into the search index? If so, what content should be indexed?
