Add an option (checkbox) in the layout settings for "Page title type" that enables/disables appending the " | [site-name]" part to the page <title>.

I know the way to remove | Site name directly from appropriate file. But may be this can be done via admin?

I use module https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/base_meta but sometimes I would like not to fill it in and let the page title (h1) to be in >title< without default append | Site name.

Thanks!! Easiest for me to just give permission for anon users to see the admin theme. That worked. It's just for this one page.

It looks like the screenshot of what you show it should look like is the admin theme whereas what they see is the front end theme. By default, such users won't have permissions to see the...
