[DX] Allow `config_get()` to return a default value - like `settings_get()` and `update_variable_get()` do

This is a sibling issue to #6107. The same request, but for the config_get() function instead.

I used gin admin. Perhaps, it's the problem ? I have a color border when i selected the images and of course i used the "ctrl" key.
