ok I think I got it. Aggregation is an option on the "other" section. But there is also an option to avoid duplicates on the filter criteria.
Parent items won't show on Leaflet Widget.
Re PHP 8.5 compatibility: not ready yet for review, but tests are passing now. So, still work in progress with issue #7008.
