The original drupal module works, i already have sites using it. Backdrop version doesnt work. If you check the code base, you will see why. It has also been 4 years since last commit...
Entity reference default value cant be saved
The module is a port from the Drupal module of the same name and the name is not normally changed. Looking at the Drupal module there is this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/...
