I am wanting a product selecting questionnaire/system were 12 questions are asked to provide the "perfect product" from a range of 10 products to a potential client.
Each question has 2 answers.
At the end of the questionnaire we want the "perfect product" to be displayed (if more than one applicable then we will provide a ranking system for this scenario will be implemented).
Does anyone know i there is a backdrop (or 3rd party) app/tool available for this?

Take a look to Webform.
I'd recommend Webform as well. For a Drupal 7 site, I've built an "Image Rights Consultant" with it (and I guess I've could done the same for a Backdrop site).
The 'Conditionals' functionality of Webform is quite useful for such a project. You can define something like "If component A has the value x, show component B".
