I see from the front page, top 100 drupal modules are mostly in backdrop now, thanks for the great works, but there are 2 main one not in the list, "commerce" and "profile", from my experience, almost every website I built in last few years, these 2 modules are must. so am wondering if backdrop will get these 2 module into the system or not ? Thanks

commerce on github seems been 3 years no update......
I think you'd be best looking at Ubercart. With open source, unless there is a need and the resources to work on a module it doesn't happen. Sometimes people start work and then realise another module will do the job; others the need goes away; other times, they run into a barrier they cannot overcome.
