Dev question: Are they "URL aliases" or "Path aliases" in code and docs (or is either term OK)? Background and multiple inconsistent info at https://github.com/backdrop/backdrop-issues/issues/5405.
We changed it from "Path Aliases" (as it was most commonly called in D7) to "URL aliases" in Backdrop, because most people don't understand the difference between a path and a URL, but almost everyone intuitively know what a URL is.
It's very likely that code comments and documentation still say "Path Alias". We made an effort to catch most of the instances in the UI, but it's possible we missed some of those too.
