The Backdrop CMS community has been talking about better ways to showcase and try out contributed themes for a long time. As part of these discussions, I've created a website that uses the theme switcher module and allows users to try out a variety of contributed themes with some (relatively uncurated) demo content. I think the site is still crude, but useful.

I'm sharing it here for folks to use it as they like.

  1. Please, let me know how this might be more useful?
  2. Are there contrib themes that I should add to this site?

This site is making use of this module to switch themes: https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/switchtheme

@stpaultim:

This is an awesome resource! Thank you for this!

One request: could you include some table views in there? Most of my site projects are technical in nature, and include many table views, which are treated quite differently by different themes. This would help me a lot.

@ericfoy

I did a quick views table and views grid. I'm open to more ideas on how to configure these views for good testing OR for alternative content ideas to make this site more useful.

I need to update some of the themes on this site.
