Hello,

I announce that I am doing french translation for the Backdrop user interface. So as nobody else do the same, it would be a loss of time. Thank you. I will report here where I am , I mean % of work done. And when finished, I will look around where I can put the file for you :)

Sate of the art : 34% done.

PS : the core, the base modules, including Token filter and Views, the Basis Theme (not the 2 others), but no more for the moment.

Once your group membership is approved, you can submit translation suggestions on the "Translate" page.

Note: At the moment, nobody will be notified about your translation suggestions, we still have to build a respective notification feature. For the time being, feel free to inform us here, when you have made a couple of suggestions.

I'm going to flag this for @olafgrabienski who is more knowledgeable about translations than I. I believe you can start with the Drupal translation file as a starting point -- have you done that?

Hi,

No, Olaf said me that there is a lot of proposals for this, and he can't see the way it will be resolved. For the moment I just translate what the end user sees , in my site, locally. Thanks for your answer.
