It seems that the redirect behavior either was or can be overridden with Rules. We were able to keep people on the same page by creating a rule that sends them back to the original page...

I would love for the people at the meeting to go back to my PRs for bug and feature issues that are languishing in the issue queue. These were discussed last month, and have fallen off the radar:
