This is an old Drupal trick (similar to the old Jedi mind trick) but I can't find the how tos anymore!
I'm going to add Flexslider to a new Backdrop site. I want to overlay text and links over the slide.
How do you do that again?!

Backdrop returns 404 error only in CiviCRM pages
The fix is to add the following to the .htaccess file Options -MultiViews and this is also discussed here in this very forum. Thanks to David at Civihosting!
