Yes. It is perfectly fine to go from
1.8.xto1.10.x. In general you should be able to go from any minor version up to any other minor version.The thing that can not be guaranteed is
1.xto2.x(there is no2.xyet).Good to know. It should be mentioned in the Upgrade/Update instructions. Not everyone is coming out of the Drupal experience where it is "common knowledge."
