So, I am well aware that CiviCRM is supported for Backdrop. However, I'm wondering about the upgrade process for a Drupal 7 site with CivicCRM to Backdrop?

I have experience upgrading Drupal 7 sites to Backdrop CMS. Can I upgrade a Drupal 7 CivicCRM site and can anyone shed any light on how that changes the process? How much difficulty does it add?

I have very limited CiviCRM experience.

@stpaultim I see there is a "how to" page on the CiviCRM docs:

  • Switch from Drupal to Backdrop ("For some use cases, instead of a Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 migration, a migration from Drupal 7 to Backdrop is a great alternative...")
