I've been working with SEO tools quite a lot recently, and one thing I've noticed is that a good free tool can save hours of manual work.
There are now hundreds of free SEO tools for tasks like keyword research, meta tag generation, robots.txt creation, XML sitemap generation, DNS lookup, redirect checking, page speed analysis, and many more. While premium tools offer advanced features, free alternatives are becoming surprisingly useful for everyday SEO tasks.
I'm curious to know what everyone here is using in 2026.
- Which free SEO tool do you use the most?
- What specific task does it help you with?
- Have you discovered any underrated tools that deserve more attention?
- Do you prefer an all-in-one SEO platform or several specialized tools?
Personally, I think simple web-based SEO utilities are becoming more valuable because they're fast, require no installation, and are perfect for quick technical SEO checks.
I'd love to hear your recommendations and experiences. Hopefully, this discussion will help everyone discover some useful tools they haven't tried yet.
