Could anyone please guide me how to quickly and easily remove Powered by Backdrop text from the bottom?

If you are logged in as admin and you hover over you will see this:
Click on configure
You can then click cancel on the screen and you can see the block in the layout and either disable it or remove it. You might need to do this in more than one layout depending how many you have
