I noticed when I run the check manually on available updates page no longer work for quite a while even if I updated the core manually once. It keeps showing the following message.

Failed to get available update data for ... projects.

 

May I know how to fix this.

There have been similar issues reported in the forum - mostly due to expired certificates. This happened to me back in October with my local environment.

It never work again since it last stopped. and my web hosting is Plesk. Thanks for the support link.

Thanks for the link but I couldn't find the .pem file in my web hosting. I'm not familiar with SSL, I just used "Lets Encrypt" but couldn't find the .pem file to download at the cp. Only these are provided:

  1. CSR
  2. CA certificate (*-ca.crt)
  3. Certificate (*.crt)
  4. Private key (*.key)

I tried to upload *.crt to my Edge browser but not working. Meanwhile I try to upgrade the core manually. Thanks for hints. 

 

 

I have same problem. This is specific to backdropcms since update check (etc) works fine for Drupal and ModX installs.

Install new modules also times out.
