It would be good to understand what, if any, barriers there are to getting support for complex db passwords in:
Devel is contrib but it is pretty essential for development. The current released version has a few PHP 8+ errors that are fixed by merged PRs.
Also, there is at least one example where the released version couldn't help find the error, whereas the HEAD version could.
I understand that a further release is on hold until https://github.com/backdrop-contrib/devel/issues/135 is done, but nothing has happened on that in nearly a year.
How do we get to a release?
