For now, as I understand, anonymous simplenews-subscribers, that is susbscribers which are not registered users, are defined by one single field: the e-mail address. It is the only field presented on the subsription form.
I would like to add more fields to this form (name, sure name, etc.) and use this data via tokens in the newsletter, in order to address my subscribers by their name.
Well your second Idea seems to have done the trick!
So Simple!!!!! I can use this all over the place!!!
