For now, as I understand, anonymous simplenews-subscribers, that is susbscribers which are not registered users, are defined by one single field: the e-mail address. It is the only field presented on the subsription form.
I would like to add more fields to this form (name, sure name, etc.) and use this data via tokens in the newsletter, in order to address my subscribers by their name.
This issue in the API module is blocking any upgrade of docs.backdropcms.org to later PHP versions. I had a look but not sure how this can be fixed: https://github.com/backdrop-contrib...
