I’m in the process of upgrading from Drupal 7 to Backdrop. When I click the CONTINUE button, the page does not advance to the next step.
I have installed the Rules and Entity Tokens modules, along with several other modules, in the Backdrop modules folder.
I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

This is a known issue that will be solved in a few days. See the issue and PR here:

It has already been merged into the 1.x branch, but there will be a new release in a matter of days, I believe. You can download the dev branch to do the upgrade.
Is there a link to download the dev branch? I'm not sure how to access GitHub.

The dev branch is the 1.x branch. Go here:
https://github.com/backdrop/backdrop
And click the "Code" button and then Download zip.
With the dev branch, clicking the 'Continue' button advances to the next step. There were other challenges, but I managed to upgrade all the necessary content to Backdrop CMS. Thank you.
