Hello There,
Although, I started playing with Backdrop CMS a few weeks I Still do not feel comfortable implemnting various aspects of the functionality I need for my sites. Does it provide any WordPress` Gutenberg type functionality so that I could at least design the homepage of my site?
Thanks and regards

Hi @toda97, as far as I know, there's no Gutenberg-like feature for Backdrop CMS. There are several other good ways to design your homepage, though. Some of them are quite simple, such as placing and arranging custom blocks and other blocks on the homepage layout. Other methods are a bit more complex, such as using the Paragraphs module. Can you roughly describe what kind of features and layout/design you're envisioning for your homepage?
Hi @olafski, thank you for sharing your insights. I am trying to develop a two-tier business directory in which content type A will serve As parent and content ytype node will serve as child flor a specific industry. I also want to make a third content type showing events in the industry. I would like to show all of them on the homepage (of course, using teaser).
Thank you again for your time.
For making blocks of content for the main (or any) page, the Views is great tool. Create Views blocks, use filters by type of content, take the necessary fields, format display as cards, teasers or as fantasy will tell. Use CSS for design. Place the blocks on the desired page. Design example can be get on well -known news sites.
