If you want to request a Backdrop version, you could do that here, but backports from D8+ versions are much harder than ports from D7 version, so you may not get much traction.
It may be that a Backdrop version would be easy to backport to D7 but given the definite end of life announced here, it is very unlikely that anyone would be investing time in a D7 version:
