Hello, we're putting together a small grocery co-op.
I see that there once was a Drupal module called UberPOS (UberPOS was a point-of-sales system built on top of Drupal and Ubercart. It provided an AJAX interface for cashiers to easily add products to a customer's order, as well as remove them, accept payment, cancel entire orders and print receipts. It had included addon modules allow UberPOS to be used with touch screens, mice, and programmable keyboards, barcode scanners, receipt and other printers, and credit card readers).
Has anyone used Ubercart with a brick & Mortar store? Is there anything like UberPOS avaiable for Backdrop?
Thanks in advance.

Hello Chrys..,
It looks like it was for Drupal 6, with a Dev release for D7...
Never seen it before, but it looks like an interesting module... Do you have an immediate need for something like this?
Regards
Steve
Yes indeed. We are exploring a few other more costly options, but as we are a low-resource start-up, we could save a lot of money by integrating Backdrop, CiviCRM and Ubercart for our membership consumer cooperative. I expect that Ubercart out of the box might be usable by a cashier in a brick & Mortar strore, but I also suspect that having an Ubercart POS system might make that process simpler for the store worker (especially if it had a barcode reader).
