Had a couple of strange things happen today - first the Admin check for updates via Status page showed a new Backdrop version - went to Available Updates and noted there was no option to "download system updates". A quick check of Mr. Google sent me off to check that Project Installer module was installed and active - it was installed but not active! I've been using the Admin backend to do my updates so it had been previously active.
Obviously I activated it and sure enough the "download system updates" came back and I was able to update the CMS to v1.34.3 - Any ideas what might have caused this?
