Hi there,
as Drupal 7 EOL is coming now really (?) I am looking to switch to BackdropCMS.
As a frontend-focused developer I really fell in love with Entity Formatter to do the templating in D7.
I am wondering if porting it to Backdrop would be a good idea.
Any input is welcome.

It does look like a good module to port. In Backdrop it would depend on Entity Plus (not entity), since E+ provides metadata wrappers. It shouldn't be too difficult to port.
