Hello everyone.
Third day I've been getting an error when trying to check for updates (/admin/reports/updates)
"HTTP request to https://updates.backdropcms.org/... failed with error: request timed out".
Is Backdrop server problem or limited access?
ADDED: I also tested two sites on a local server - the result is the same (Backdrop CMS 1.32.1). I don't have the ability to test on a different hosting provider. When I go to the link from the browser, I get XML with list of Backdrop CMS versions.

I had that problem with a site a while back and in that case it was a hosting problem with IPv6, which didn't work properly on the server this site was on.
I updated and checked several Backdrop sites today without any problem. There's no access restriction for checking updates I'm aware of.
You might need to contact your hosting provider.
