I get a red x saying file system. Everything is checked OK except php v 7.3 and webserver. I'm running apache2 v2.4.41

Sudipto, you may have more luck in the CiviCRM forums for this as this looks like a CiviCRM error. Many people use Stripe in Backdrop without issue, albeit it can take a bit to get setup.

Thank you Olaf, that is what I did. Only reason for putting it all in one 'value' was more tight display. But I will stick with this suggestion.

Please, provide a little more detail about how far you get in the installation process when you get this error? The more details you provide, the more likely we are able to help.
Is it possible to provide a screenshot?
I can't get passed the second page where checks are made to ensure you have the correct components, even though I have the correct version of php and mysql, as well as apache2 server. Php and web server are the only 2 not checked off.
Can you add a screenshot of that whole page into a reply?
