This is a really good idea. I nearly always search on GitHub if I'm not sure of the name.
That said, there is still room for improvement in GitHub as many repos have a useless description...

@barney are you using Login Destination? If so, are you on the latest version? (What you describe sounds like an issue I fixed within the last month or so after I took over maintainership).
Thanks for coming back to me. I have tried Login Destination but whenever I try to set a new rule I get this error
Notice: Undefined index: destination in /home/tredegar/public_html/core/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 3214
That's why I switched to Rules, but it fails there also
Hi...just spotted that despite the undefined index error when creating a new rule, the rule does work.
